Verify your website with Bing

It's generally a good idea to let as many search engines and online directories know that your website exists!  The more exposure your website has on the Internet, the better.  This article explains how to verify your website with Bing.

1.   Go to  www.bing.com/toolbox/webmaster  and click Sign In

2.  Sign In using your Microsoft Account details (then go to step#4).  If you do not have a Microsoft Account, please click Sign up now and follow step 3 below.  

3.  Fill out the required information. 

4.  In the Add a Site field, enter in the URL of your website.  That is, www.Example.com.au, where Example  is replaced with your actual website name.  Then click   ADD. 

5.  {C}{C}{C}{C}{C}{C}{C}{C}Enter in the relevant information.  Anything with a * is required. 

6.  Right click BingSiteAuth.xml and click Save Link As. 
Do NOT change the file name. 
Send the BingSiteAuth.xml file to us at  support@magicdust.com.au and we’ll place the file onto your server, then contact you when it’s done.  Then you can click VERIFY to complete your Website Verification.
