There are a number of things you should check before you ask us to take your website live. These are listed below. If you're unsure of any of these, you should contact Magicdust Support by email on firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 1300 309 379 (option 3 for support) and ask any further questions you have about the below.
If you have any questions about what website name your website is going to be put on, or email accounts and such, these should be directed to the admin team on email@example.com
1. Check your contact form.
Your website comes with a free basic contact form. You will want to make sure that you are receiving the entries to this form at the correct email address.
You can do this by going to Contact from the Dashboard sidebar and clicking on your contact form, which by default is titled 'Contact form 1'. The section your looking for is the To: field of the Mail section. This is the email address that all user submitted enquiries will be sent to, so it's important that it is correct. By default this will usually be set to info@[YourDomain].
2. Check your Menu items all link to their respective pages correctly.
3. Check your clickable panels all link to their respective pages correctly.
4. Check any internal / external / link to attachment links are all functioning correctly by going through each of your pages and checking you can click on them and they link to what they should correctly.
5. Ensure your contact details are correct - These are commonly in the footer area (bottom section of your website) and on your contact/contact us page.
6. Ensure your contact number is correct - This is usually located up the top right of your website.
7. Check for spelling mistakes through the website.
Once you've taken a good thorough look through your website, and checked your contact form email address, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org asking for your website to be taken live. The Admin Team will confirm if there are any details they need before we can take your website live, and once both you and us are ready to go, we'll take your website live!
Once your website is live, it's strongly suggested you actually test your contact form by sending through test information through your contact form to double check it's definitely coming through.
