This article will explain the different possible methods of how to provide your Wholesale users discounts.

Discounts can be applied to your products in many different ways:

1.  Via a promotion, for example a percentage off your products site-wide.  Wholesalers could buy as little as 1 or more than 100 using this pricing.  Click here for more information.

2.  You can choose the Quantity Discounts for each of your products.  An example setup could be 1 for Retail price, 5 or more for 10% less than retail, 10 or more for 20% less than retail, 50 or more for 30% less than retail, and 100 or more for 40% less than retail.  Click here for more information.

18.  Enter in the percentage you want to provide off the order for your wholesalers.

19.  Click Save.

After saving your promotion, have a read through your promotion and check everything looks correct.  The last step is to test that your products get reduced by 20% for only the customers that are assigned to the Wholesale user group.  The guide here explains how to create your own wholesale user for testing purposes.

Quantity Discounts

This method provides you the ability to control the discounts given for ordering certain quantities to your wholesale users.  This is particularly useful if you don't want to provide a flat percentage off all products in your store.  Each product can have different quantity discounts, as explained earlier, an example setup could be for one of your products, 1 unit for the standard retail price, 5 or more units for 10% less than retail, 10 or more units for 20% less than retail, 50 or more units for 30% less than retail, and 100 or more units for 40% less than retail.

Note:  You can also do this by dollar amounts instead of percentages if you wish.

1.  Hover your mouse over 'Products'.

2.  Click to select 'Products'.

3.  Click on the product name you wish to add quantity discounts for wholesalers for.

4.  Click on the 'Quantity discounts' tab.

5.  Click the downward pointing arrow to expand the drop down menu.

6.  Select 'Wholesale' to make the discount only be shown for Wholesalers.
